Jay plays Rich Connelly, a Louisiana insurance salesman who becomes obsesed with finding proof that the sea monster he
watched drag his brother away really exists. He crosses paths with Laura Dougherty, an oceanographer who is on the same
mission after seeing one of the giant ocean vertebrates during a research dive, and the two work together to try to uncover
the secrets behind the sea creatures.
